Please note: Serving sizes are estimates and may vary depending on how the cake is cut.
Transportation
- Always carry the cake box from underneath, keeping it level. Never lift or squeeze the sides of the box.
- Cool the car before placing the cake inside.
- Place the cake on the floor of the car or another flat, stable surface — never on a seat.
- Keep the cake away from direct sunlight and use air conditioning when necessary.
- Drive carefully and travel directly to your destination. Do not leave the cake unattended in the car or run errands while transporting it.
Storage
- Refrigerate the cake in its box until needed.
- Keep it away from strong-smelling foods, direct sunlight and heat.
Before Serving
- Remove the cake from the fridge approximately 30–60 minutes before serving, depending on the room temperature. This allows it to soften for the best flavour and texture.
- Some decorations may contain wires, skewers, toothpicks or other non-edible supports. Carefully remove all inedible decorations and cake props before serving.
- For tiered cakes, carefully separate each tier and remove the internal support dowels as you cut.
Leftovers
- Store leftover cake in an airtight container in the fridge.
- For maximum freshness, consume within 4–5 days of collection.
Important
- Once the cake has been collected, the customer is responsible for its safe transportation, handling and storage.
